We collect what a reservation needs, and nothing to sell.
What we collect
When you reserve: your name, email address, mobile number, the date, the number of guests, your chosen currency and, if you enter one, a discount code. Your browser's user agent is recorded with the reservation to help spot automated bookings.
Why
To hold your seats, to send your confirmation, and so the lodge can reach you on the day if something changes. The legal basis is the performance of the reservation you asked for.
Who sees it
Your reservation is stored in the lodge's booking system, operated by Istanbul Workshops, and is seen by the lodge's staff. It is not sold or shared with anyone else.
The chat
The chat on this site runs on Chatwoot, hosted by Istanbul Workshops. What you write, and any name or email you give, is seen by the lodge's staff so they can answer you. If you have made a booking on this site, the chat is linked to that booking's name and email so staff know who they are talking to. The chat keeps a cookie in your browser so that a conversation stays open between pages.
Cookies and analytics
Apart from the chat's cookie, this site sets no cookies of its own. It uses Google Analytics to count visits and bookings, which sets cookies in your browser.
Your rights
To see, correct or delete the details held about you, write to the lodge in the chat on this site or reply to your booking confirmation email. Turkish residents have the rights set out in the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, No. 6698); visitors from the EU and UK have the equivalent rights under the GDPR.
