Booking terms
The short version: reserve free, pay at the door, cancel free up to 24 hours before.
Who you are booking with
Reservations made on this site are for the Sema at Kasımpaşa Mevlevihanesi, Sururi Mehmet Efendi, Keramet Sk. No:17, 34435 Beyoğlu/İstanbul, and are recorded in the lodge's booking system, operated by Istanbul Workshops. The ceremony is held and hosted by the lodge.
Price and payment
The price is $26 per person, reduced from $29, as shown when you book. The price you see when you reserve is the price you pay. Nothing is charged online: you pay at the door on the day. If you chose euros or Turkish lira when booking, your reservation is recorded in that currency.
Changes and cancellation
You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the ceremony. To cancel or change a reservation, reply to your confirmation email or write to the lodge in the chat on this site, quoting your reference. As nothing is paid in advance, there is nothing to refund.
Arrival and conduct
Please arrive 20 to 30 minutes before 17:00. The ceremony is a prayer: photography, video and applause are not allowed while it takes place, and phones must be silenced.
If the lodge changes a ceremony
In the rare event that a ceremony is cancelled or moved, the lodge will contact you using the email address and phone number you gave when booking.

Your details are shared with the lodge only to manage your reservation. Privacy.
